Long Day Care
Noranda Childcare Centre has been operating since 1992. We are a 47 place long day care centre with 3 rooms ranging from 0-5 year old. We are conveniently situated next to Camboon Primary School. We aim to provide high quality care in a home away from home atmosphere where children can build secure relationships with trusted Educators most of whom showing a long-term commitment to their vocation and proving continuity of care.
Our Educators provide children with opportunities to challenge their learning at an individual and group level. Our outdoor playground boasts a natural like environment where children can explore their surroundings in a safe area.
Our centre, it’s educators and the outside community is proud of the inclusive curriculum provided to support families and children with additional needs.
Hours of Operation & Fees
- Full day rate $132 (Babies & Toddlers) $130 (Kindy)
- Monday to Friday 7.30 am – 6 pm
- The centre is closed on public holidays and over the Christmas and New Year period.
Enrolment & Orientation
Children learn best when familiar and secure in their relationships, therefore, to establish the child’s trust and confidence, we encourage all families to visit our service and participate in orientation.
Initial tours can be booked between 9.30 am and 10.45 am, or in the afternoon between 2 pm and 4 pm.
The orientation process is flexible to meet a family’s individual needs, though we recommend two to three orientation sessions before the child’s first full day.
